Berwick is produced using 80% pure new wool, 10% nylon and 10% tuftbond. Tuftbond is a robust synthetic fibre that undergoes heat treatment to set the yarn. A carpet made using this unique Tuftbond technology flattens less and sheds less of its pile in the first few months, and keeps its appearance longer, compared with other traditional 80/20 twists. Berwick is produced using a 10th gauge loom, giving a finer finish to its fine array of heather shades. Berwick is also a true heavyweight, offering wearability in a 50oz pile weight.
