Terms & Conditions

Payment Information
Payment can be made in a number of ways, credit or debit card, this can be debited immediately and enable us to arrange delivery within a couple of days providing stock is available. You will be re-directed to our secure payment site, powered by Royal Bank of Scotland 'Worldpay'. Goods cannot be dispatched, or processed without full payment.

Cloverflooring.co.uk are not liable for any charges made by banks for these services, likewise Cloverflooring does not charge a percentage fee for any credit or debit card payments. Should any additional charges apply due to location, these will be explained fully, prior to ordering goods from manufacturers.

In the case that the customer is unhappy with these charges for a particular reason, a full refund will be given. A refund will also be given in the instance that a particular type of flooring ordered on this site is unavailable, or any other problems arise upon our contact with the customer following an order. In this case cloverflooring.co.uk endeavour to offer solutions and suggest alternative products.

Shipping information
Delivery service is available on all stocked goods. A surcharge may apply to some addresses within the UK. This is due to location of both manufacturer and customer for distribution.

All orders will incur a delivery charge of £49.99 (VAT included). Exceptions may apply locally or discounts may apply where customers opt to have their goods fitted professionally by clover flooring. For most products, please allow up to 14 working days for delivery throughout mainland UK, subject to stock availability. However most products will be dispatched within 7 days and we endevour to keep customers well informed. To prevent fraud and other security risks, the cardholder must be present to sign for goods. This is for your protection. Goods will not be left without a cardholder signature.

Orders made during the festive season may be subject to delay and delivery may not be carried until the following year due to stock availability. Orders placed on this site after 12th December cannot be guaranteed within the 14 day window. All customers will be informed of approximate delivery times upon our contact following an order.

Deliveries are made to the 'front door'. Unfortunately due to insurance guidelines it is not possible to take goods into the home. Therefore customers will need to arrange for adequate help at time of delivery. All carpets and vinyl deliveries require at least 1 extra person at the property to assist with unloading. Customers will be expected to keep a check on emails for updates about goods dispatch.

Flooring deliveries will be made in a van, making most addresses accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road or area is subject to maintenance causing restricted space, please inform us at the time of order in the ‘secure payment’ section on our website. Deliveries are normally made from 8.00 am to 6.00pm in the evening. This can be flexible in certain circumstances upon request.

Requests for an E.T.A on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. Cloverflooring.co.uk cannot be held responsible for delivery times. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver, due to customer absence, or for any other reason, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. All deliveries must be signed for.

Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery before signing, this means glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage. If you are unfortunate enough to receive damaged items, or items are missing, make sure it is clearly noted on the courier’s paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless either signed for as damaged or missing.

No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking installation until goods have been received, unless being fitted by one of our professionals.

Installation and Manufacturer Faults

Customers will be expected to arrange their own installation. In some areas, an installation service will be available. This will vary due to postal code and customers will be informed of availability after purchase. It is recommended that installations are carried out by a professional with at least 10 years experience, as cloverflooring.co.uk cannot be held responsible for installation errors, such as wrongly matched patterns or any other.

All cut pile carpets regardless of method of manufacture, quality or pile content may develop shading caused by uneven crushing of the pile. This is a natural 'phenomenom' inherent in all pile fabrics and as such cannot be accepted as a manufacturing fault.

If a genuine manufacturer fault is discovered during installation, the buyer or the installer must inform us of the fault immediately in order to arrange a replacement. If goods are cut to measure (carpet and vinyl orders), please note that once cut by the buyer or a qualified installer, the goods are no longer the responsibility of Cloverflooring.co.uk and cannot be replaced. All claims for uncut faulty goods must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Cloverflooring.co.uk will not accept any claims for damaged, faulty or mis-described items once the flooring has been installed. Where the buyer has used or installed the goods, such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition. You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.

Cloverflooring.co.uk uses an independent arbitrator to adjudicate all claims for manufacturer faults after installation. If you wish to proceed with an inspection Cloverflooring.co.uk reserves the right to charge. The cost for inspection is £80.00 + VAT. If the inspection shows that the complaint is caused by a manufacturing fault, the above charge will be refunded.

Returns Policy
Any requests to return an order must be made in writing by a durable medium, within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods can only be returned if defective or faulty.

In the case that goods are defective or faulty and need returning, our courriers will deliver new goods within the above time frame. Defective or faulty goods will then be taken in exchange. Cloverflooring.co.uk do not accept part order returns. All credits will be processed within 30 days.

All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulation” a guide of which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf
